Immediately [fn] many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.

Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"

So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.

For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him.

Matthew 12:22-30; Luke 11:14-23">[xr] Then the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

Matthew 13:1-9; Luke 8:4-8">[xr] And again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea.

so that 'Seeing they may see and not perceive,And hearing they may hear and not understand;Lest they should turn,And their sins be forgiven them.' " Isaiah 6:9, 10 ">[fn]

but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade."

And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.

Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead."

But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.

But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them.

So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.

And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him.

But they did not understand this saying, and it was hidden from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying.

Matthew 10:26,27">[xr] In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, "Friend, go up higher.' Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you.

So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, "Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.'

And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.'

But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.
