If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses won't be broken, are you angry at Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath?

"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," Jesus answered. "This came about so that God's works might be displayed in him.

Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you may believe.

On the contrary, I am going away so that the world may know that I love the Father. Just as the Father commanded Me, so I do. "Get up; let's leave this place.

Every branch in Me that does not produce fruit He removes, and He prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit.

"I have spoken these things to you so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

But this happened so that the statement written in their scripture might be fulfilled: They hated Me for no reason.

But I have told you these things so that when their time comes you may remember I told them to you. I didn't tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
