because these are days of vengeance, so that all the things that are written can be fulfilled.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it.

This one came for a witness, in order that he could testify about the light, so that all would believe through him.

And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem so that they could ask him, "Who are you?"

Then they said to him, "Who are you, so that we can give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?"

so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life."

For in this way God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life.
