For all God's promises are "Yes" in him. And so through him we can say "Amen,"through him is the "Amen"">[fn] to the glory of God.Romans 15:8-9;">[xr]

This is the very reason I wrote you, so that when I did come I might not be made sad by those who should have made me happy. For I had confidence in all of you that my gladness would be for all of you.2 Corinthians 7:16; 8:22; 12:21; Galatians 5:10;">[xr]

So forgive and comfort him, or else he will drown in his excessive grief.Galatians 6:1;">[xr]

so that we may not be outsmarted by Satan. After all, we are not unaware of his intentions.

But my spirit could not find any relief, because I couldn't find Titus, my brother. So I said goodbye to them and went on to Macedonia.2 Corinthians 7:5-6;">[xr]

At least we are not commercializing God's word like so many others. Instead, in Christ we speak with sincerity, like people who are sent from God and are accountable to God.as from God and before God">[fn]2 Corinthians 1:12; 4:2; 11:13; 2 Peter 2:3;">[xr]

So if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are dying.being destroyed">[fn]1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:10;">[xr]

We are always carrying around the death of Jesus in our bodies, so that the life of Jesus may be clearly shown in our bodies.Romans 8:17; 1 Corinthians 15:31; 2 Corinthians 1:5,9; Galatians 6:17; Philippians 3:10; 2 Timothy 2:11-12; 1 Peter 4:13;">[xr]

While we are alive, we are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may be clearly shown in our dying bodies.Psalm 44:22; Romans 8:36; 1 Corinthians 15:31,49;">[xr]

And so death is at work in us, but life is at workis at work">[fn] in you.2 Corinthians 13:9;">[xr]

Now since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written - "I believed, and so I spoke"Psalm 116:10">[fn] - we also believe, and so we speak.Psalm 116:10; Romans 1:12; 2 Peter 1:1;">[xr]

All this is for your sake so that, as his grace spreads, it will increase the thanksgiving of more and more people to the glory of God.1 Corinthians 3:21; 2 Corinthians 1:6,11; 8:19; 9:11-12; Colossians 1:24; 2 Timothy 2:10;">[xr]

So while we are still in this tent, we sigh under our burdens, because we do not want to put it off but to put it on, so that our dying bodies may be swallowed up by life.1 Corinthians 15:53-54;">[xr]

So whether we are at home or away from home, our goal is to be pleasing to him.

For all of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what he deserves for what he has done in his body, whether good or worthless.bad">[fn]Matthew 25:31-32; Romans 2:6; 14:10; Galatians 6:7; Ephesians 6:8; Colossians 3:24-25; Revelation 22:12;">[xr]

We are not recommending ourselves to you again but are giving you a reason to be proud of us, so that you can answer those who are proud of outward things rather than inward character.rather than the heart">[fn]2 Corinthians 1:14; 3:1;">[xr]

So if we were crazy, it was for God; if we are sane, it is for you.2 Corinthians 11:1,16-17;">[xr]

He died for all people, so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for the one who died and rose for them.Romans 6:11-12; 14:7-8; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 2:20; 1 Thessalonians 5:10; 1 Peter 4:2;">[xr]
