Whenever it brings on a seizure, it throws him to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes stiff. So I asked your disciples to drive the spiritit">[fn] out, but they didn't have the power."

So they brought the boyhim">[fn] to him. When the spirit saw Jesus,him">[fn] it immediately threw the boyhim">[fn] into convulsions. He fell on the ground and kept rolling around and foaming at the mouth.Mark 1:26; Luke 9:42;">[xr]

So he sat down and called the twelve. He told them, "If anyone wants to be first he must be last of all and servant of all."Matthew 20:26-27; Mark 10:43;">[xr]

So if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life injured than to have two hands and go to hell,Gehenna; a Gk. transliteration of the Heb. for Valley of Hinnom">[fn] to the fire that cannot be put out.Deuteronomy 13:6; Matthew 5:29; 18:8;">[xr]

and the two will become one flesh.'Genesis 2:24">[fn] So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

So Jesus stopped and said, "Call him!" So they called the blind man and told him, "Have courage! Get up. He's calling you."

So they went and found the colt outside in the street tied up next to a doorway. While they were untying it,

So he said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again!" Now his disciples were listening to this.

So they answered Jesus, "We don't know."Then Jesus told them, "Then I won't tell you by what authority I am doing these things."

Then the manhe">[fn] sent another, and that one they killed. So it was with many other servants.with many others">[fn] Some of these they beat, and others they killed.

So they grabbed him, killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.

So they brought one. Then he asked them, "Whose face and name is this?" They said to him, "Caesar's."

So Jesus said to them, "Give back to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they were utterly amazed at him.
