So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came and filled both boats until the boatsthey">[fn] began to sink.

So when they brought the boats to shore, they left everything and followed Jesus.him">[fn]Matthew 4:20; 19:27; Mark 1:18; Luke 18:28;">[xr]

So Jesushe">[fn] reached out his hand and touched him, saying, "I do want to. Be made clean!" Instantly the leprosy left him.

So the manhe">[fn] immediately stood up in front of them and picked up what he had been lying on. Then he went home, praising God.

So Levihe">[fn] left everything behind, got up, and followed him.

Then they said to him, "John's disciples frequently fast and pray, and so do those of the Pharisees. But your disciplesyours">[fn] keep right on eating and drinking."Matthew 9:14; Mark 2:18;">[xr]

But Jesushe">[fn] knew what they were thinking. So he said to the man with the paralyzed hand, "Get up, and stand in the middle of the synagogue."of the synagogue">[fn] So he got up and stood there.

He looked around at all of them and then said to the man,him">[fn] "Hold out your hand." The manHe">[fn] did so, and his hand was restored to health.

So they went to Jesus and begged him repeatedly, "He deserves to have this done for him,

So Jesus went with them. He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to tell Jesus,him">[fn] "Sir,Lord">[fn] stop troubling yourself. For I am not worthy to have you come under my roof.under my roof">[fn]

John's disciples told him about all these things. So John called two of his disciplesMatthew 11:2;">[xr]

So he answered them, "Go and tell John what you have observed and heard: the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear again, the dead are raised, and the destitute hear the good news.Isaiah 35:5; Matthew 11:5; Luke 4:18;">[xr]

Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesushim">[fn] to eat with him. So he went to the Pharisee's home and took his place at the table.Matthew 26:6; Mark 14:3; John 11:2;">[xr]

So I'm telling you that her sins, as many as they are, have been forgiven, and that's why she has shown such great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven loves little."1 Timothy 1:14;">[xr]

The ones on the path are the people who listen, but then the devil comes and takes the word away from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

"No one lights a lamp and hides it under a bowl or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in will see the light.Matthew 5:15; Mark 4:21; Luke 11:33;">[xr]

So pay attention to how you listen. For to the one who has something, more will be given. However, from the one who doesn't have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him."Matthew 13:12; 25:29; Luke 19:26;">[xr]
