So if even a no-good sorry judge will dispense justice, how much more will our loving God hear our pleas that we cry out for day and night? Will he just turn a blind eye to his kids?

The religious fellow thought he was better than other people, so he stayed away from everyone else and prayed, 'Thank you, God, for not making me like the lowlife cheaters, sinners, and fornicators. And a special thank you for not making me like that crooked brand inspector over there.

One day some parents brought their kids to see Jesus so he could bless them. As they all huddled around Jesus, his twelve cowboys started trying to shoo everyone away.

So he did the only thing he knew to do. He climbed a tree nearby. He knew Jesus would come right by there and he would get a good look.

at least you could've broke the horse to a saddle or picked up his feet so I could trim him.'

So they cowboys rode ahead, and everything was just as Jesus had said.

They argued and fought, but they couldn't come up with anything because everyone loved him so much and listened to everything Jesus said.

So Jesus said, "If you won't answer, then neither will I."

So the owner sent another cowboy to try and collect what was due. The sorry thieves did the same thing and sent him back with nothing.

So they grabbed the son when he rode through the gate and strung him up and killed him."What do you think the ranch owner will do to those boys who killed his son?" Jesus asked.

So Jesus asked them, "Then what do y'all think these words from the Good Book mean? 'The calf the cowboys rejected has now become the sire bull.'

So they conspired against Jesus and sent some of them in regular clothes to try and trap Jesus. They wanted him to say something against Rome so he could be arrested.

So tell us truthfully, should God's people pay taxes to Caesar or not?"

"Boss," they asked, "when will it happen? What will set it off so we can know what to look for?"

But all of this will happen so you can tell them about me.

So don't fret about the charges or how you will answer.

But I have talked to my Dad about you so that he will strengthen you in the days to come and you will be filled with courage after you fail. When you come back to me, be there for your brothers who you ride with and encourage them."

Jesus started praying some more. He prayed so hard that his sweat turned to blood and fell to the ground.

They all looked around at each other and then asked, "So you're saying that you are the Son of God?"Jesus said, "You said it right. I AM."

Now Herod was glad to meet the man he'd heard so much about. He wanted to see a miracle.
